John "Hollywood" Johnson is a dynamic dual-thread quarterback and athlete from Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Known for his playmaking ability and natural leadership, Johnson has become one of the most electrifying young athletes in the country

During his standout high school career he showcased his versatility by dominating both through the air and on the ground. Passing for over 8,539 yards and 88 passing touchdowns, while adding more than 2,464 rushing yards and 47 rushing scores. For a combined 11.003 yards and 135 touchdowns and counting. In the state championship game as a junior, he turned in a legendary performance, accounting for five total touchdowns, earning the games MVP, leading his team to a perfect season. Johnson has lead his team to top 10 National Ranking.

Johnson's combination of precision passing, athleticism, and football IQ powered his rise as one of Louisiana’s most decorated athletes and a recognized three-star national prospect. The Team Captain of the #4 team in America, he led his program to the 2024 & 2025 Louisiana State Championship and earned Championship Game MVP honors.

His production and consistency have made him a 2x District 9-5A Offensive MVP, 2xFirst Team Metro and 2xFirst Team All-State selection, along with being named Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Year, a Louisiana State Player of the Year finalist, and the New Orleans Metro Player of the Year.

Johnson is also a 2x Allstate Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month, holds the state record for the most Manning Awards for Quarterback of the Week, and has been recognized twice as a Warrick Dunn State Player of the Year nominee and the Hash It Out Show New Orleans Player of the Year twice.

Johnson holds offers from multiple Division One programs as a Quarterback, Receiver, and Defensive Back. He has signed West Virginia University as a Quarterback. Go Mountaineers!
